We are not responsible for any misrepresentations, omissions or other erroneous data published on our website. These details are directly obtained from the respective airlines. Fluctuations in currency rates during a foreign travel is a financial liability of the passenger. All fares are displayed in USD on our website. The offers and deals are indicative; for more precise information contact our customer support team.
The changes in the airfare post reservation will have to been borne by the passenger. But we do make sure that you get intimated of these changes prior to payment. Baggage fee is not a part of the fare unless it is mentioned clearly.
A First class ticket is available only on select flights however an Economy and a Business class will be available on most flights. Be sure of what class of ticket you are booking for only you are responsible for your choice.
The booking is complete only after you receive a ticket through e-mail before which you will receive an auto generated confirmation from our website. Domestic flights confirmation process takes around 24 to 48 hours whereas the same process takes a little longer in case of international flights. Your reservation is guaranteed only after it has been ticketed. When there is a change in fare, you have all the rights to either cancel the booking or proceed to the payment with the new rates in effect. 72 hours prior to your departure confirm your flight’s schedule with the concerned airline.
CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
A confirmed air ticket cannot be transferred or refunded unless it is expressly stated. However if the cancellation is done within 24 hours of the booking, then you may be eligible for a refund after the necessary charges are deducted. The charges that may apply include a cancellation charge deducted by the airline and a processing charge deducted by the website. If the airline does not entertain your request then we will refund the processing fee whereas the service fee charged by the website is non-refundable. If you are unable to make the journey due to some sudden developments then you will forfeit the entire fare amount. This forfeiture also applies when you are denied boarding or if there is a delayed boarding.
Name change or travel date change is not allowed in an air ticket. If you wish to effect any such change then you will have to cancel your original booking and make a new booking with the new details. But it all depends on availability of tickets. If it is a valid cancellation then the airline will award a credit for the passenger that ought to be used within a certain time frame by the same passenger and with the same carrier. For this to happen you will have to make a cancellation request earlier to your departure date and time. Kindly refer the website of the airline with which you are making a cancellation to go through their rules with regard to this issue. You will have to bear any fare differences while making a booking with your credit amount.
CANCEL FOR REFUND
For a valid refund request the following conditions will have to be satisfied first.1. Traveler has applied for a cancellation with refund and there is a provision for the same by the airline. 2. Traveler should have applied for the cancellation prior to the departure date and time. 3. Waivers are obtained by the website from the airline to process the cancellation and facilitate a refund. The order in which your request is handled cannot be foreseen. Similarly the time taken to process a request completely depends on the number of requests in queue. You will receive an acknowledgement once you lodge your request and this does not imply that you are guaranteed for a refund.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION
You hereby authorize Go-cheaptickets.com and its representatives to use your credit/debit card to make a purchase transaction on your behalf. We verify your details such as name, contact details, card details with your respective banks to protect you from any misuse of your personal details by frauds. When making a reservation on behalf of someone else you will make sure that they are aware of the terms of this Agreement. The information provided to us for making a booking should be both accurate and complete.
BAGGAGE POLICY AND FEES
In general, an airfare does not include any baggage fee except for in a few cases where we will mention it clearly on our website. There is a permitted upper limit set by every airline in terms of weight that can be carried by a single ticket holder. If you happen to exceed that upper limit, there is one of two possibilities. You may either be asked to turn in all your extra luggage or be allowed to carry it at an extra cost. Confirm the baggage policy of your air carrier before going to the airport and also make sure that you weigh your luggage before going to the airport. The excess baggage charge varies according to the size and weight of your luggage.
CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION
A third party database is used to verify the details provided by our customers. This is done in order to maintain veracity of our website and of our services. If the verification process cannot be done via a third party, then we will directly contact your credit/debit card issuing bank and complete such verification. By doing so, we are not doing a credit check on our customers and this will not affect your credit rating in any way. It is mandatory that we share your details with a Credit Reference Agency. They may or may not store your details. If storing, it may be stored in whole or part. Your details will be released to the legal authorities if and only if we find that you have violated this Agreement.
PASSPORTS/VISAS/GOVT. ISSUED PHOTO ID/HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
United States and Canadian citizens are required to carry their passports during both personal and business trips. Every country has their own entry restrictions with regard to heath, passport and visa. Contact the foreign country’s consulate to get to know about these in detail. You have to be adequately packed to cope with all adverse conditions that you may face in the country of your visit. Carry an ID card issued by the government of your nation which may be required in hotels and other security checkpoints. If you are detained, deported or denied boarding in any country, we cannot be held responsible for a refund. Make sure you have a valid passport and visa before you begin your journey as obtaining these is a lengthy process and there are no shortcuts here.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR UNITED STATES
The entry requirements for air travelers coming into the United States is governed by the laws laid down by the Homeland Security Department of the United States effective from January 23rd, 2007. When taking up an international journey, it is mandatory that both American and Canadian citizens carry their passports along with them. Many countries have it as a mandatory entry requirement failing which you may be deported. Otherwise, the website will resolve any claim, controversy or dispute arising from the use of the site, the site’s terms and conditions, or the breach, interpretation, termination, enforcement or validity thereof, or the relationship between the customer and the website, in accordance with the subsections below or as otherwise mutually agreed by both the parties in writing.
SUBMISSION TO JURISDICTION; GOVERNING LAW
The above mentioned terms and conditions and the rights of the parties hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America, exclusive of conflict of choice of law rules. The customer agrees that any claims shall be brought into a court located in Hillsborough County, Florida, United states of America. All claims must be brought to court within two (2) years from the date on which such claim arose or accrued, unless otherwise prohibited by the applicable law.
FILING CLAIMS IN AN IMPROPER MANNER
The Claims brought against the website must be resolved in accordance with the “Dispute Resolution” section. All Claims that do not conform to this section shall be considered improperly filed and void. If the customer’s Claim is not in accordance with this section, then the website may recover from the customer the attorney fees on behalf of the website and is extremely expensive, provided that the website will notify the customer in writing that the Claim was improperly filed, and the customer should promptly withdraw the Claim.
